0.00 30 minutes A sixteen-year-old boy scout, Jason Francois embarked on a weeklong Scout training trip. The group learned the eating habits of wild animals, and how you should never keep food in or about the campsite. One night, Jason heard screaming, and ran out to see a 400-pound black bear dragging his friend from the camp. Jason threw rocks at the bear until it eventually disappeared into the woods, and tended to his friends wounds. Jason was later awarded the Honour Medal for Bravery.
