Tonino Guerra: Towards The Sun

These are the famous films "The Lion with the Gray Beard" and "The Long Journey". Animated films, where impossible fantasies come to life, seem to be the true territory of Guerra. The movement towards Russia becomes for the Italian master a movement along the vertical of creativity, a metaphor for the limitless possibilities of imagination.
