Soon after, the boy crosses his path with Alibaba, a youngster who dreams to obtain power and wealth by clearing the mysterious dungeons around the world and claim their treasures. Upon learning of Aladdin's secret powers, Alibaba gets close to him trying to win over his favor, but he only manages to get his help when he finally assumes that his true desire is to overcome his own hopelessness.
