Help arrives in the form of Tatya Tope who arrives in Jhansi with his battalion. Laxmibai meets her wounded soldiers and tends to them. She then exhorts them to fight for their motherland. The soldiers promise to fight against the British till their last breath! Tatya Tope discusses his strategy against the British with his men. Thousands of miles away, Laxmibai was proving to be a major concern for Queen Victoria, so she decides to send her bravest but crazy officer, Lieutenant Gall. Chimnabai goes into labour and Laxmibai assures her that Jhansi would be freed by sunset, so Chimnabai asks her what would happen if Tatya Tope wouldn't arrive on time!
