After consuming the magic rites of more than a thousand books Ruruta is able to defeat the 'Beasts of the Final Chapter' but is forced to kill his lover Niiniu, in the process. As such he creates the Armed Librarians and the Church of Shindeki in order to fulfil Niiniu's wishes and make her happy.
